Hi, I'm the founder and President of Lifelong Knowledge, Tony Maida. This company is my vision for a change, I feel tutoring should not be a way to get rich or a way to make the most bang for the buck like other companies do. My frustration is two-fold, first I cannot understand why the education system has reached a point where tutors are needed regularly; and secondly, why it is so hard to find a good tutor these days. Tutoring began as a hobby during my sophomore year of college to satisfy my passion for teaching. I graduated with an Engineering Physics degree in 2001 and have worked at companies like SAIC and Lockheed Martin, and a small solutions firm called EF Johnson Technologies. The same vision that helped me grow alone is my
driving force to help grow as a team of professionals geared at
enhancing the quality of education. My philosophy is simple: money
should never come before education, and educational quality should not
be dictated by cost.

Meet Paul Sullivan. He is in the final year of a double degree program studying Mechanical Engineering and Classical Studies. Paul has been tutoring high school, SAT, and college mathematics since entering college. Although he enjoys the sciences, another side of him has a great love for history and languages, this love enables him to also tutor introductory Latin. He understands what it is like to struggle in a class to learn the material, and then turn around and tutor that material to others; something he views as a selling point of his abilities. "The way I see it, it’s better to be tutored by someone who knows what material is difficult, where mistakes are made, and how to overcome these obstacles than by someone who may have an intuitive grasp of the subject, but is unable to explain to anyone else how it works." In his spare time he practices martial arts and is currently in the OCC (Officer Candidate Course) Program for the US Marine Corps.

Jessica was awarded a DACOR-Bacon House Fellowship for graduate study in international relations and is currently applying to Master’s programs throughout the country. She hopes to study development and democratization, with an emphasis on women’s issues.

Once the student understands the concept of Biology and how different things interact, everything else becomes that much simpler. In addition to Biology, Ramya is also able to tutor Anatomy, General Chemistry, and Mathematics up to Algebra 2.
